2024-23 AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM ONE APPROPRIATION TO ANOTHER AND/OR APPROPRIATING FUNDS NOT HERETOFORE APPROPRIATED.
WHEREAS, Section 5705.38 of the Ohio Revised Code provides that the appropriation ordinance may be amended or supplemented, and that transfers may be made from the General Fund to other funds as approved by Council, and,
WHEREAS, this Council finds it necessary to supplement the appropriation Ordinance No. 2024-4 by the appropriation of funds heretofore unappropriated, and/or transferring funds from the General Fund to another fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Vermilion, Counties of Erie and Lorain, State of Ohio:
SECTION 1:
Fund to Fund Transfer
Transfer from: General Fund 101 (Cash Advance) $32,494.06
Transfer to: Fund 460 AFG FEMA Radio Grant (representing the local match for the City of Vermilion’s participation in this grant that will
not be repaid)
SECTION 2: This Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this Ordinance were taken in an open meeting of this Council and that all deliberations of this Council and of any committees that resulted in those formal actions were in meetings open to the public and in compliance with all legal requirements, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the mayor.
