Clearing for the construction of Jackson Street will begin Monday August 24, 2026. Construction of the Storm Sewers will begin Sept. 8th.
Highbridge Road is closed between the bridge and Parkside Reserve. To reach Hilltop please take Woodland Dr. to Dogwood Lane. the northern section of Highbridge is open to local traffic.
The Vermilion Lighthouse is located at Main Street Beach. It is a replica of the original known as the "Town of Sea Captains" lighthouse that was moved to Lake Ontario. The one that now stands is as beautiful as the original. The beauty of the 5th order Fresnel lens is illuminated by a 200-watt incandescent bulb.
