Vermilion Road Water Main Break

WATER MAIN BREAK & BOIL ADVISORY

The Vermilion Water Department is responding to a water main break affecting all homes on Vermilion Road, south of the railroad tracks to Tomahawk Lane, including Riverside Drive, Lagoon Lane, Howard, Gardiner, Frederick, Gilbert, and Dorothy Streets.

Residents in the affected area will experience low water pressure or a complete loss of water while repairs are underway.

Homes in Indian Ridge will NOT be affected.

Once the water main break has been repaired, a precautionary Boil Advisory will go into effect for the affected area. There is no known contamination. Water used for drinking and cooking should be boiled for two full minutes.

The Boil Advisory will remain in effect until further notice. We will notify residents as soon as the advisory is lifted.
