City of Vermilion
Water Department Chemical Bids
Per the order of Vermilion City Council, sealed bids will be received by the Director of Public Service, 5511 Liberty Avenue, Vermilion, Ohio, 44089 until 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 28, 2023, for “Water Department Chemicals” at which time bids will be opened and read publicly.
Specifications may be obtained at the above address during normal business hours, by calling 440-204-2402 or emailing jbooker@cityofvermilionohio.gov. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested and shall be accompanied by a bid bond executed by a licensed surety in the amount of one hundred dollars ($100.00) or by a certified check, cashier’s check or money order on a solvent bank or savings and loan association, in the amount of one hundred dollars ($100.00) made payable to the City of Vermilion. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening of the bids. No bid bonds, certified checks, cashier’s checks, or money orders will be returned for a period of thirty days subsequent to the opening of the bids.
The proposal shall be sealed and marked “WATER DEPARTMENT CHEMICAL BIDS,” addressed to Anthony Valerius, Director of Public Service, City of Vermilion, 5511 Liberty Avenue, Vermilion, Ohio, 44089.
The City of Vermilion, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids or part of thereof, to waive any informalities and to accept the bid it deems most favorable to the City of Vermilion.
