The City of Vermilion has many city-wide events.
All group events are limited to non-profit, non-partisan organizations whose event involves use of property owned by the City of Vermilion that are open to the public. A Community Event Permit must be submitted for approval 8 weeks in advance. A fee may be charged for any additional resources determined to be necessary.
Profit Venture and Corporation use of property owned by The City of Vermilion are subject to approval and payment will be determined by The City of Vermilion, Mayor or Vermilion Parks and Recreation Board.
You chose a venue that is operated by the Vermilion Parks Department. The organizer must attend the next Parks and Recreation Board meeting. Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm. The meeting location is Vermilion Municipal Complex, 687 Decatur Street.
